Module 1: Rethinking Traditional Approaches to Challenging Behavior
Step into the science behind student behavior. Explore how stress affects learning, why power struggles emerge, and how traditional discipline may be holding students—and educators—back. Begin laying the foundation for a more connected, resilient classroom.

-
Partner with students to solve problems collaboratively
-
Reinforce positive behavior in ways that boost engagement and motivation
-
Create structured, inclusive environments that support self-regulation
- Learn how to talk about challenges in a way that lowers defensiveness and helps avoid bias.
Final Module: From Insight to Impact

What You’ll Gain:
-
A deeper understanding of student behavior and what drives it
-
Communication tools that strengthen student-teacher relationships
-
Strategies that promote autonomy, equity, and emotional safety
